Welcome to the Muth Family Center for Learning!

Mater Dei High School is proud to offer the following options for students in need of extra academic assistance:

Monarch Academic Program for Success (MAPS): Students that have learning differences are often just as bright, if not brighter, than their peers. However, differences in the way they process and retain information often causes them to have difficulty learning in school. A two-tiered, fee-based program designed for students with documented learning and/or attention differences has been developed to assist in narrowing the gap between intellectual ability and academic achievement, focus on not just what to learn but how to learn, and to set students up for success.

Academic Assistance Program (AAP): Drop-in, small group/individual tutoring with MDHS teachers before and after school. Click on AAP link for the daily schedule.

The Learning Center: The Learning Center (LC) is a dedicated space in the library open to all students from 7:30am to 3:30pm who need extra assistance and/or a quiet, monitored place to study.  The LC is staffed full-time by two learning specialists.
